THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- Strategic Shaft Technologies, L.C. (SST) announced that players using the company's SST PURE™ golf shaft alignment process posted wins in two separate events this week. In one of the events, five of the top seven finishers were using "PUREd" clubs.

In what would have to be called the hottest current equipment story in golf, SST has performed work for more than 60 PGA TOUR players during just 8 events on TOUR this year.

"The benefits of the SST PURE™ process are becoming more widely understood and recognized," said Dick Weiss, SST's founder and CEO. "Many TOUR players are now openly requesting that their original equipment manufacturers bring their clubs to us for "PUREing" before they will put those clubs in play. Player word-of-mouth carries a lot of weight on TOUR and we've been a hot topic of conversation out there."

SST has its sights set on the consumer market. With five licensees presently in place and more being added, the company's plan of making SST PURE™ technology available to golfers on a broad scale is taking shape quickly.

"The activity in the office has been incredible," said Philip Talamonti, SST's President. "The licensee program has been well received and between equipment installations, training, and the increase in normal day-to-day activities, we've certainly had plenty to keep us busy."

The SST process is being licensed to OEM's for inclusion in newly assembled clubs and is also available through a retrofitting program where a customer can have their existing set of clubs "PUREd".

The SST PURE™ shaft alignment process eliminates equipment induced mis-hits by stabilizing all golf shafts, dramatically reducing unwanted off-plane shaft movement during the golf swing.
